Tom and Tony did a fantastic job. Arrived on time. I had a complete HVAC unit removed which included the air handler/furnace in the basement and the compressor outside. They were on time, friendly, ensured that everything was cleaned up and in working order before leaving. We switched companies about two years ago after Cape Fear Air started working on my business building's AC units and did such a good job. The building owner had to change companies as the former company (that I also used to use at home) billed him for a service call when cameras showed that the tech was sleeping in the van the entire time. We had been with the other company for about 12 years with two services a year. We were shocked to see the extent of the service that is now done by Cape Fear in comparison to the former company and feel that we were fleeced by the other company as they were in and done in about 30-40 minutes. In fact our first AC unit only lasted 7 years under their care. Cape Fear takes well over an hour on the servicing and makes sure that the unit is running smoothly before leaving. They clean the coils with chemicals and check everything out. They remove the cover of the machine, and they put it all back together correctly (something that routinely did not happen with the other company). The service tech, James, showed up on time and knew what he was doing. He was polite and made sure my gate was closed and also that we were satisfied with his work. Normally they can get us in for our service call within 1-2 days too. We intend to stay with Cape Fear Air. Read Less
